# Fox and Ember Fantasy Ball

> A romantasy masquerade ball for fans of ACOTAR and Sarah J. Maas,
> taking place October 23rd, 2026 in western Massachusetts.
> Hosted by Michael (Wrel) and Kitty of Witchdraught.

Fox and Ember is an independent fan event inspired by the Starfall
Ball from A Court of Thorns and Roses. It features costumed
attendance, local vendors, live entertainment, courtly games, and
an optional interactive plot line. The event is aimed at adult
romantasy fans in New England. Ticket sales will be announced via
email newsletter. Subscribers receive first access.

The hosts also run Quest & Candle (a candle shop), Distal (a d20
TTRPG), and Gossamer Frontier (a solo TTRPG). The event brand is
Witchdraught.
